1. We Collect and Use Personal Information
We follow the principle of data minimization and only collect information necessary to provide services. In order to operate the services of Photo Revive AI and provide a good user experience, we will collect and store the following information about you:
1.1 Login and Registration Functions
1.1.1 Account Registration and Login Information
When you log in using an email address, we may collect and process the following information:
- Email address: Used for account creation, identity verification, and synchronization services related to your account.
- Third-party account information: When you log in using a Google or Apple account, we obtain limited information from these services, such as your email address and the unique identifier associated with your account. We do not collect any additional data from these third-party services.
- Authentication data: We may store security tokens provided by third-party authentication services to verify your login status.
For users logging in via Google or Apple, we do not collect or store your password. For users logging in via email, your account information is used only for identity verification, account management, and in-app personalized settings. It will not be used for advertising or cross-platform tracking.
Important Notice: We do not collect or store your password when you log in via Apple or Google.

1.2 Image Processing Functions

Information Collected: When you use image enhancement, restoration, coloring, or AI generation functions, you need to actively upload photos containing portraits, objects, or scenes. If the photos you upload contain facial data, in order to achieve accurate image processing and optimization (such as facial restoration or style transfer), our algorithms will temporarily analyze these facial features to complete your instructions. We solemnly promise that such analysis is used only for this image processing task and will never be used to identify your identity, for marketing, or for any other purpose unrelated to providing the service, nor will it be shared with any third party.

Purpose of Use: The sole purpose of this information is to provide you with the image processing services you request based on your instructions (for example, analyzing facial features to better complete facial restoration or style transfer).

Data Usage: We do not store the images you upload or any personal information related to them. The images are used only to generate the required visual effects within the app, ensure accurate alignment of facial feature visual effects, and improve the precision and personalization of AI-generated content.

Data Processing Methods:
- Transmission and Storage: The images you upload will be temporarily uploaded to our encrypted servers for processing. After processing is completed, the original images and analysis results containing facial data will be permanently deleted from the server within 24 hours to ensure your data security and short retention period, unless you explicitly authorize and agree that we retain anonymized data for model optimization.
- Local Retention: The generated images will be saved by default on your local device. We do not retain any copies on the server side. You may save them to your device’s photo album through the app’s save function.
- Third-party Processing: Where necessary to provide services, we may entrust third-party service providers to process your data. However, through agreements and other measures, we ensure that they comply with confidentiality and security obligations equivalent to this Policy and prohibit them from using the data for any other purpose or retaining the data after processing is completed.
1.3 Information We Automatically Collect
To optimize product experience, analyze service performance, and ensure operational security (based on our legitimate interests in improving services and maintaining security), when you use our services, we automatically collect and record certain information that cannot independently identify you. This information includes:
- Device and log information. To optimize your experience, we collect information about the device you use to access our services, such as device type and operating system. This helps ensure the app runs well across different devices.
- Usage and preferences. We analyze your interactions with our services and usage frequency, which helps us improve the app and customize it according to your preferences to enhance your experience.
- Payment information (via Apple): If you choose to subscribe, Apple securely processes all payment data through the App Store. We cannot access your full payment details—all transactions are handled by Apple’s system and are completely secure.
1.4 How We Use Your Information
- Providing services. We use your information to support the core functions of Photo Revive AI, including generating and saving user content, managing your preference settings, and responding to your inquiries. We may also send you product updates and practical tips to enhance your user experience.
- Communicating with you. We send service-related notifications via email and push notifications, including account updates (such as subscription renewals and expirations), security alerts, and other important messages. You may manage push notification preferences in your device settings.
- Improving services and business operations. We analyze usage trends, evaluate the effectiveness of promotional activities, and improve product features, marketing strategies, and user experience, as well as optimize the overall functions of Photo Revive AI to better serve users.
- Enhancing security and preventing fraud. We use your information to identify, investigate, and mitigate security risks, fraudulent activities, and unauthorized access. Our security measures include monitoring potential threats, conducting risk assessments, and taking necessary measures to prevent malicious or illegal activities, while complying with industry standards.

For example, we use local storage to save your login status so that you do not need to log in again each time you launch the app. You may manually log out through device settings.

- Deletion: Under certain circumstances (such as withdrawal of consent or when we no longer provide services to you), you may contact us to request deletion of your personal information.
- Withdrawal of consent: You may withdraw your authorization for us to collect information by disabling device functions, modifying settings within the app, or adjusting system settings on your device. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out based on consent prior to withdrawal.

For security purposes, you may be required to submit a written request or otherwise verify your identity. 5. How We Process Minors’ Personal Data
This Service is not intended for minors under the age of 16 (hereinafter referred to as “minors”). We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you are a guardian and discover that a minor has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us immediately to withdraw consent and request deletion of the minor’s personal data.
